My pet portraits have become a very special part of my art practice, I feel very honoured to be given the job of capturing your beloved animals and making a piece of art that displays their magnificence.

Prices and Sizes
The portraits are painted in acrylic on mounted wood panel
The panels have a depth of 2cm
20x25cm -$250
25x30cm -$300
+$100 for additional pet
50% deposit required before I begin painting. I will include payment details once we have agreed upon painting details. Payment via PAYID
The portrait can take 8-12 weeks to complete
A good reference photo is key to a great painting
Finding the right photo to use for a painting can be tricky. It is helpful to have a lot of options when possible.
In the drop box below please upload a variety of photos. Nothing is finalised at this point and over email we can discuss the different options and together decide on an idea that will best capture your animal.
I've included a photo I've taken of my dog as an example of what I'm looking for in a reference photo. She is next to a large window and she has one side of her in light and the other part of her in shadow. This is what makes a painting create the sense of three dimensional form.
